AgriThority® Adds Depth to Global Team

(Kansas City, Missouri, USA — November 9, 2021)  AgriThority®, an agricultural product development company specializing in accelerating new technologies to commercialization around the world, expands the U.S. team with the additions of a product development and regulatory senior manager and a project and market analyst. The LATAM team also adds a business development and sales lead.

Solito Sumulong brings more than 20 years of experience to his role as Product Development and Regulatory Senior Manager at AgriThority®. In his previous roles at ProviviNutrien Ag Solutions, Winfield and DuPont, Sumulong designed, characterized and improved products for enhanced quality, successful commercial development, and freedom to operate. His expertise includes implementation of stage-gate processes and project management of regulatory and manufacturing scaleup activities.

“We are thrilled to welcome Solito to our AgriThority team,” says Gloverson Moro, Ph.D., AgriThority Chief Technology Officer. “He will deepen our regulatory and product development expertise to better serve our growing clientele.”

AgriThority also welcomes two others: Horacio Buscaglia as business development & sales lead, LATAM, and Chase Beisly as project and market analyst.

Buscaglia has more than 25 years of experience in international marketing and business development with agribusiness and pharmaceutical industries. He brings a strategic focus and passion for execution to the AgriThority® LATAM team. In his previous role at Syngenta, he spent 18 years in a variety of product development, business management, and marketing roles. He led the turn-around and growth of the LATAM corn seeds business as regional head of corn, and most recently, he served as Syngenta Group Integration Lead where he led cross-company and cross-functional teams creating portfolio opportunities. Those efforts resulted in 11 product introductions in four countries and plans for future introductions and co-developments. Prior to joining Syngenta, he held various roles at Novartis Argentina and Aventis Pasteur.

Beisly brings knowledge in optimizing production and distribution, as well as evaluating and maximizing the performance in agricultural markets and production systems. In his role at the Food and Agricultural Policy Research Institute (FAPRI), Beisly developed a partial equilibrium model of the U.S. corn market. This model calculated nutrients delivered to the end consumer and estimated the market while factoring in changing consumer trends. He extended the nutritional component to include evaluation of other grains, oilseeds and livestock products.  As a farm owner, himself, Beisly adds a passion for realistic best practices to his analysis process.

“Horacio and Chase are great additions to the AgriThority team,” says Tony Pardo, AgriThority Global Manager, Client Services. “Horacio allows us to expand our reach to bring more new innovations to market, and Chase enhances our data and market analysis capabilities.”
