Oluwatobi (Tobi) Oni Business Manager, EMEA
Agriculture was part of daily life growing up in suburban Nigeria. Most families cultivated small home gardens, growing crops like yams, maize, and peppers. I was fascinated by how planting and nurturing simple crops could yield food we ate or shared with neighbors.
After finishing my Ph.D. in Environmental Microbiology, I wanted to apply my scientific expertise beyond academia, and my first opportunity came in agrochemical regulatory affairs. Over time, I was drawn to how science drives innovation in agriculture, particularly the growing focus on microbial and biological solutions. Connecting scientific knowledge to real world agricultural and food production challenges gave my work purpose, and that sense of impact continues to inspire me today.
My career has spanned regulatory affairs, scientific consulting, and innovation strategy across the Agri-food and chemical industries. I have supported global companies in developing, registering, and commercializing agri-inputs ranging from conventional chemistries to next generation biologicals. Joining AgriThority® was a natural progression, as its Science to Market mission aligns perfectly with my experience and passion for advancing agri-food innovation.
In my role as Business Manager, EMEA, I focus on translating this approach into meaningful impact by aligning technical rigor with market strategy. My goal is to build trusted partnerships with our clients and ensure we deliver lasting value and sustainable growth across the region.
Since the start of my career, connecting scientific knowledge to real world agricultural and food production challenges has given my work purpose, and that sense of impact continues to inspire me today.
