Throughout my career in R&D and AgTech, I’ve had the chance to work with a diverse range of crops and tested a wide variety of products for crop protection that contribute to sustainable production. In my role as Product Development Agronomist, I work with AgriThority® clients in the developing genotypes, biostimulants, fungicides, insecticides and herbicides in LATAM row crops (maize, soybean, cotton) as well as in many fruits and vegetables. I enjoy working with a wide spectrum of clients that have diverse products.
After getting my degree in Agronomy, my curiosity for biology and new technologies led me to the National Technology Institute for Agriculture and livestock (its initials in Spanish is INTA), which fueled my passion for agriculture and food production systems. There, I deepened my knowledge in plant physiology and insect biology and conducted my specialization in the study of population dynamics, natural enemies and other control methods for pests that affect worldwide commodity production.
While my primary focus in R&D is in Entomology, it extends to biotechnology, chemicals, and other disease-causing pests and weeds. I’ve researched and tested a wide spectrum of products and studied their application in different crops and agricultural systems.
Fluent in Spanish and English, I enjoy working to deliver detailed, technical information to AgriThority clients to help position their products in the global marketplace and advise them from early development toward product launch.
