Earlier this month, Jerry Duff, Horacio Buscaglia, Ricardo Duarte and Eleonora Da Riva attended BioAg World Congress in Rio de Janeiro. The team enjoyed networking with hundreds of industry experts from 50 countries and discussing new developments in BioAg and sustainability.
Many multinationals participating discussed novel technologies currently in development, including biopesticides, biostimulants, biofertilizers, bioherbicides and bionutritionals. Use cases were presented to illustrate how growers can incorporate these technologies to reduce the use of synthetic chemistries. Additionally, many startups showcased novel products for different crops and pests across a wide range of microorganisms.
As always, regulatory requirements were a main discussion point, with experts offering support for the registration of biological products in different countries and continents, to optimize go-to-market strategies.
The congress allowed participants to generate an extensive network of contacts to continue expanding their product network and developing their products in other regions. Overall, it was a productive time in Brazil and the team looks forward to the 2024 congress.
